Caucuses are an important part of the political process and are run by the major political parties. They begin a series of meetings in which the parties endorse candidates, select delegates for state and national party conventions, and set goals and values (called party platforms). LWVMN Caucus Resolutions
As part of our Advocacy work, LWVMN has drafted template caucus resolutions for members to consider based on our positions. Proposing a resolution at caucus provides an opportunity for members to express their voice and influence what is accepted as part of a party platform. In addition, it can expose your neighbors and community to the issues that LWVMN influences.
